Shermin Yaghoubi trained at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California. She graduated in 2012 with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. This comprehensive program included two-and-a-half years of classroom study and one year of clinical rotations in various hospitals and medical clinics located throughout Oakland and Berkeley. Shermin is nationally certified as a Physician Assistant and is licensed in California. Prior to her Physician Assistant education, Shermin attended the University of California, Los Angeles where she received her undergraduate degree in Anthropology. She maintains and expands her medical education by attending conferences, continuing medical education lectures, and reading journals with the most current urological guidelines. She is a member of the American and California Academy of Physician Assistants.
